Why death and taxes will soon be obsolete.

After ASI comes within few months of it, we will all be immortal and wealthy.

in this post I will be proving this using basic mathematics and economics

Define Wealth

rich = how much money do you have

money is used to buy resources. money is a medium of exchanging resource.

wealth = how much resources do you have

suppose you are in a desert and you have a lot of money but you can’t buy anything with it because there is no one around with whom you can exchange resources

or suppose you are the only person left in this world, everyone else died. now no matter how much money you have because you can’t use it, its not wealth

now suppose you have a machine that gives you anything you ask, now you are wealthy because you have resources but you are not rich because you do not have money.

you are more wealthy than a 18th century king.
why? because you have resources such as Air Conditioner, Airplane. which he did not have no matter how much money he had.

so you want to be wealthy not rich aka you want to have resources not money.
money is just the medium of exchange of those resources.

so if price of everything in this world goes to zero, we all become wealthy all at once

How to make price go to zero? this brings us to the next section

Price and Scarcity

first we will have to understand the concept of price and scarcity.

you can give a price/value only to something that is scarce.

anything which is abundant is free

example :- air , water

now oxygen is not free because it is not abundant , similarly clean water is not free because water is abundant but not clean water. clean water is scarce

now for something to be free another necessary condition along with its being abundant is , it should be very easily accessible.

for example suppose there is infinite gold on jupyter but that will not make gold free on earth because that gold is simple in accessible to us. we have not yet figured out how to go to jupyter

so if we make every resource on earth abundant then its price will go to zero and we all will become wealthy

How to make every Resource Abundant on earth

there are two facts i want you to remember

1. Energy in this universe in Abundant as like air

2. Energy can be converted to mass ( E = mc^2 )

but ayush, if Energy is Abundant as Air , why is it not free? like air.
because it is not easily accessible

so we need three conditions to be true for abundant resources

1. a way to make energy very accessible

2. way to convert energy into mass. energy —> plastic

3. convert that mass into something useful. for example converting plastic —> chair

there are two challenges before us.

1. we have to figure out science to make the first two points possible. (we allready know the science to the third point)

2. we have to make the cost of production zero.

lets tackle the science problem first. the answer to that is ASI. ASI is 100x phd level intelligence. and cool thing about software is you can have millions of instances running all at once.

so you can have millions of very smart phd working on a science problem day and night.
what are the chances of the problem getting solved? I say 100% until n unless it is not restricted by the laws of physics.

How to make the cost of production zero.

cost of production = cost of Labor + cost of production resources (raw material , factory machines etc) + cost of production of land
we have to make each of these cost zero

we have landed on a chicken egg problem here.

for cost of production to be zero, cost of labor has to be zero and vice versa.

how to solve this?

Lets first instead of making cost of production zero lets make it low.

there are two reasons why cost of production will become very low

1. robots are much much cheaper than human labor

2. cost of energy has become zero (because it has become accessible thanks to ASI)

now with this reduced cost , you will make more Robots, Raw material, Factories and Land( remember E = mc ^ 2). until all these 4 things become abundant and their cost goes to 0.

and with that The Cost of Production will go to zero

And we all will become wealthy

Immortality

throw a million(or infinite) phd’s (ASI) on the problem/disease of Aging.
if we stop aging at 25 y/o then will never die.
